Curriculum Vitae

I’m a web developer based in Oxford and I’m currently looking to start my career in Web Development, as a Junior Web Developer. You will find my CV below. If interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.

About me

I’ve been creating web applications from a very early age (14). I’m a highly resourceful, innovative, and competent PHP developer with extensive experience in the coding, design and layout of web applications. I’ve had (and still have) a great passion for it ever since I started, and spend most of my free time doing it. I now want to start my career in the Web industry, as a Junior Web Developer. You will be hard pushed to find anyone as enthusiastic about web development/programming as I am.

Personal

Please note, the user-interface has not been a primary task in most of the projects listed. For that reason, the UI design is far from brilliant. Please do not judge my UI design skills based on the projects below.

trim.WS – A URL Shortener (project site)

QRCode Gen – A Quick Response Code Generator (project site)

mailTracer – Trace all outgoing emails (project site)

newsFeeder – All in one RSS feed API for national UK online papers (this project has no user-interface – it’s just a web service API)

WordPress theme for personal site (at navnav.me)

Education

  • Extended Diploma In ICT ( equivalent to 4 A-levels ) – PPM

Why do you not have a degree?

Incase you’re wondering, one of the reasons for why I chose not to go to university is pretty obvious – the ridiculous fees. But, that wasn’t the only thing holding me back. My brother, who is one year older than me, did decide to go to university, to study computer science. Ever since he started, I have seen all of his course work. Now, I don’t mean to be (or come across as) arrogant in any way, when I say this, but, I found the course work he was handed to be rather easy. That’s most probably because I’ve been studying computer science since I was 14. But my point is, I didn’t want to spend another 2 years of my life in education, studying topics that I already have good knowledge of, and have a £50K+ debt on my shoulders because of it.
