I’m a web developer based in Oxford and I’m currently looking to start my career in Web Development, as a Junior Web Developer. You will find my CV below. If interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I’ve been creating web applications from a very early age (14). I’m a highly resourceful, innovative, and competent PHP developer with extensive experience in the coding, design and layout of web applications. I’ve had (and still have) a great passion for it ever since I started, and spend most of my free time doing it. I now want to start my career in the Web industry, as a Junior Web Developer. You will be hard pushed to find anyone as enthusiastic about web development/programming as I am.

Full Time Web Developer – White October
From March 2013 to current
Full Time Junior Web Developer (Volunteer) – Salient KMS (Oxford Web)
From January 2013 to March 2013
Oxford Web is a Web Development Agency based in Oxford. I completed a full time voluntary position at Oxford Web, with hope to gain some professional experience. I really enjoyed my time there and I do wish to continue working at Web Agencies as my career progresses.
I worked on many different tasks during my time at Oxford Web. From fixing simple bugs in HTML/CSS to writing new Admin Modules for their content management system.
The following is a list of all personal projects I’ve worked on that are remotely accessible (for you to see). Please note, the user-interface has not been a primary task in most of the projects listed. For that reason, the UI design is far from brilliant. Please do not judge my UI design skills based on the projects below.
trim.WS – A URL Shortener (project site)
QRCode Gen – A Quick Response Code Generator (project site)
QRCode Gen is a small app that generates QR codes. It’s a very simple app and didn’t take more than an hour to build. All generated images are uploaded to the ImageShack picture hosting site to prevent any loss of data.
mailTracer – Trace all outgoing emails (project site)
mailTracer is a pretty neat app that enables the ability to trace outgoing emails. When I say trace, I mean know when your email has been opened. The way it works is pretty simple – It simply generates an ID for each trace session and provides users with some HTML code (to include in their email). The HTML code is simply a single img tag that links to a transparent image on mailTracer’s server with the generated ID in the URL query. Each request to the image is logged with the ID in the URL query.
newsFeeder – All in one RSS feed API for national UK online papers (this project has no user-interface – it’s just a web service API)
newsFeeder is a small web service API that enables the ability for developers to access RSS feeds from many national (online) newspapers with a single request, using a single output format (JSON).

- Extended Diploma In ICT ( equivalent to 4 A-levels ) – PPM
Why do you not have a degree?
Incase you’re wondering, one of the reasons for why I chose not to go to university is pretty obvious – the ridiculous fees. But, that wasn’t the only thing holding me back. My brother, who is one year older than me, did decide to go to university, to study computer science. Ever since he started, I have seen all of his course work. Now, I don’t mean to be (or come across as) arrogant in any way, when I say this, but, I found the course work he was handed to be rather easy. That’s most probably because I’ve been studying computer science since I was 14. But my point is, I didn’t want to spend another 2 years of my life in education, studying topics that I already have good knowledge of, and have a £50K+ debt on my shoulders because of it.
